Welcome to my blog! My name is Kacie and I am in love! I am in love with my amazing husband, and my two adorable little girls. I am in love with everything that has to do with weddings and I absolutely love cute little families and adorable chubby babies! Nothing makes me happier than to be able to capture all the love that surrounds this beautiful world and to share it with my clients. I try to keep up with my blog every few days, so be sure to check back often for all the fun things I'm working on!

Merry Christmas!!!

Friday, December 25, 2009

This was our first Christmas together as a new little family. Having a little one in the house during the holidays definitely makes things a whole lot merrier! We had such a wonderful day opening gifts, making funny little videos with our new flip camera, taking walks to the park, watching movies, eating yummy food and just enjoying all the family time!

Here's our perfect little tree with Camille's new fun toy car Santa brought her (Santa also thought this car would be super cute for my photoshoots!)

Now that Christmas has passed, I am allowed to post all of the photoshoots from the last couple months since most of my clients were using the photos as gifts and wanted to surprise their family. I will be enjoying a week off from working, so I will be sure to post them all right after the New Year. Get ready for some uber cuteness!!! :)

Our little angel...

Sunday, December 20, 2009

We FINALLY went out and got our Christmas tree today. It's amazing how you instantly feel warm inside and full of Christmas spirit when you put up your tree and lights. It's also amazing how wonderful it is to have a little one in the house for the holidays. Camille was standing next to the tree when we were stringing the lights and she was just clapping and hootin' and hollerin' the whole time. It brought tears to my eyes. She's just so dang cute!

So before we even had Camille, I had always envisioned taking the pictures I posted below. It was one of the reasons I couldn't wait for our first Christmas with a baby. I will probably try to take more on Christmas day, but these just make me smile.

The look and wonder in her eyes as she experiences the lights and ornaments for the first time in her 10 months of life is just so precious.

The Firestone's Holiday Photos

Thursday, December 10, 2009

I always love my photoshoots with the Firestones! Little Brooks is growing up so fast and has become such a little man. They are always so full of beautiful smiles and how can you not smile yourself when you see Brooks' cute little dimples.

10 months and loving life!

Tuesday, December 1, 2009

It's been a long time since I posted pictures of our little Camille and since it's officially fall (as much fall as we can get here in sunny SB) I thought I would share some fall inspired pictures.
I also have a TON of family photos to post, but I know most of the families want to keep their pictures a secret until they send out their holiday card, so I will wait a couple weeks.

So here is our little baby girl who is growing up soooo fast! She will be 10 months next week and I feel like it was just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. She is so much fun lately and full of laughs.

The Braun Family

Friday, November 13, 2009

I had such a fun time meeting the cute little Braun Family a couple weeks ago. Their little boys are so full of energy and such handsome little fellas. They kept me on my toes the entire session, but I managed to get a bunch of super fun shots of them running circles around me :)

After our session, I learned the Brauns are also the owners of the super yummy Pizza Guru on upper State St. I had never been there before, but have now found a new favorite spot to eat! I have major food allergies, and they have so many different options that are just for people just like me. If you've never been there before... you HAVE to give it a try. Since our session, I have eaten there 3-4 times already :)

The Brewer Family

Thursday, November 5, 2009

I had so much fun photographing the Brewer family last weekend! I rarely get to photograph a family that doesn't have kids still in diapers and need me to make funny animal sounds to make them smile. I have known Scott for just about as long as I have been in Santa Barbara (almost 11 years!) He was my academic counselor while I attended City College and he spent HOURS trying to help me figure out my future and where I wanted to go. It's funny how things turn out... I think our final plan for me was to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and major in Kinesiology. And now... I attended Brooks and majored in Portraiture and I'm a wedding/portrait photographer. At least I'm still using what I learned at city college and 2nd as a personal trainer during the weekdays.

Of course it was only fitting that we do their photos at SBCC
