Welcome to my blog! My name is Kacie and I am in love! I am in love with my amazing husband, and my two adorable little girls. I am in love with everything that has to do with weddings and I absolutely love cute little families and adorable chubby babies! Nothing makes me happier than to be able to capture all the love that surrounds this beautiful world and to share it with my clients. I try to keep up with my blog every few days, so be sure to check back often for all the fun things I'm working on!

Shannon & Ryan are Married!

Sunday, October 26, 2008

Shannon was one of the very first brides I booked for the 2008 season and I didn't even get to meet her until months down the road. Her and Ryan lived all the way in New York, and I finally got to meet Ryan for the first time the night before the wedding. I usually like to do an engagement session before the wedding so it helps build a rapport between all of us before the wedding day, but I was pleasantly surprised when I put the camera up that they worked perfectly in front of it! Shannon is such a fun spirited girl who just makes you want to laugh. And Ryan was easy going and would go along with anything I asked them to do! Shannon's family reminds me so much of my own and it really made me feel right at home throughout the whole day.

Their wedding took place at the beautiful Fess Parker Double Tree and I got to work with some of my favorite vendors again! (all the ones I used for my own wedding last summer)

Flowers: Nico Designs
DJ: Music By Bonnie
Cake/Cupcakes: Montecito Confections
Hair & Make-up: Tawni Jones from 19 Blue Salon

My 2nd shooter Jeff Shipley rocked this wedding with me! He got some great shots with all the cool lighting! Thanks Jeff!
